    techinal ability- 9 in his prime, now about 6
    Power-8
    Heart-10
    Chin-10++

    A healthy Kessler in his prime was, no question an A level fighter. Not anymore.

    Pfft beating mundane and Andrade and getting schooled by calzagge makes u A level. You don't see Mayweather getting schooled by prospects.

    What does coward Floyd have to do with anything? And Kessler in his prime only lost to Calzaghe who was an elite fighter.

    sadly for Kessler he has ALLWAYS struggled with fragile hands,Backproblems that almost stopped his career when he should fight Anthony mundine,and then his eyes problems...The list goes on and on....And know he has being succesfully operated in his finger...Sad because he was a HUGE talent when he was young,and had accomplished what he has even with these injurys...Former WBA champ,former 2 time WBC champ.I hope he can recover and win a worldtitle again,and give us 2-3 great fights before he hang them up.He deserves it...He´s a classact out of the ring,and a Warrior inside.Best of luck to him.

    kessler is an elite/A smw fighter ..... but that loss with Ward put him in a bad light , i don't know what it was with him in that fight ..... maybe mentaly wasn't well prepared ....

    That fight put Ward in bad light, not Kessler. It made a fighter who comes off very classy, seem like a dirty, hometown cheater.

    Kessler beat the likes of Mundine and Andrade. Then got schooled easily by Calzaghe that would go on to struggle with an old Hopkins and get knocked down.

    Kessler was a Eurohype job of the highest magnitude. Bute, Dirrell, Ward and Froch would have easily beaten the competition Kessler beat. And out of them I only consider Ward to be A level in terms of skills, certainly not because of accomplishment.

    A level certifies you as one of the 10 best fighters in the world. Something Kessler was and never was close to being.

    If I show you what will you then say? Will you say that he's A-level?
