What is the deal with Warren? I saw in a thread below he isn't turning pro. Is that bc he wants another shot at the Olympics? He is 23 now. About time he makes the pro debut.

I'm wondering how the hell the kid is making money. Why wouldn't you want to turn pro with that kind of talent?

I have no idea why this guy won't turn pro. **** the Olympics they'll just end up robbing him anyway and then he'll have thrown away valuable years of what could have been a pro career.

I've wondered this myself...He's already lost in 2 olympics without even gaining a medal. But he IS a world champion so I don't know why he's risking another potential dissapointment. Olympics are corrupt anyway...Look at 2008. Kenny Egan was denied his gold medal in the final against China's Xiaoping Zhang. Paddy Barnes lost fair and square to Zou Shiming, but to score it 15-0 was absolutely disgraceful.

He's light. Not so much money in the pros for him right now. Olympic games makes sense.

I made a couple threads about "NUKE" last year. And what I have heard and been told is that he is really content at taking another shot that the Olympics. And I also heard, that he ("his people") have found a clever way to get "taken care of" financially by a promotional company without compromising his amatuer status. Thus the reason for staying an amatuer so long.

Pros aren't for everyone. Lots of bad **** can happen, look at all the medalists going back and you'll see only a handful do well.

HOWEVER, I understand what people are saying. Its a natural progression, and he doesn't want to go forward.

He's already making a nice amount each year as an amateur, I can KINDA understand why he doesn't want to go pro.
