In round #2 after the 2nd knock down when Maidana got up and then took a Knee, Caiz told him to "GET UP" in spanish. I found it odd. IMO it had no effect in the outcome of the fight. I never heard a ref say that before.
It was because Maidana squatted down in a way to regain himself so Caiz told him to get up because he would have gotten counted out.
He probably gets paid by the round. He did not want to get short changed. Refs sometimes say the darndest things.
