"I said 'Dog C**t' and smashed my right hook into his face, he staggered and I followed with my left as he fell forward I gave him an uppercut, punching him that many times he was spitting tooth-chips. My hands were busted, I grabbed him by the back of his head and ran at the screws' box, smashing his face into it. He spun around to punch me and slipped in his own blood, falling back."

"A quick trip to the joint and I was healthy again, relatively safe and ready for another crack at the title."

"I just got sick of being society's boxing bag and started hitting back."

"I had to fight to get to where I am today. Everybody has struggles in their life, I know I had to fight twelve rounds to get my brain stable enough to write this book."

I thought Paul Briggs book was a tough read, this book is hard hitting about one mans struggles against unwanted demons in his life.

We all got demons.....its just only the famous people get to write books about them.....Paul made his own choice and nobody forced him into them.

He looked like he was having a good every day I saw him.

I don't think Paul made his own choice when he was sexually abused by a relative.

No way....not talking about that.....you know the things I was talking about.

I know people that are close to me that have had the same **** done to them...they still made choices after that event....Paul made his.

All I am saying is that we all have demons and all have a past to deal with some worse than others.....but it is no excuse.

If you are trying to say that bad event led to his life unfolding as it did then that is your own view and only Paul would know the real truth.

I dont know Paul enough to know the total truth but I did work the night life and saw him many many times over several years and that life he led he looked like he enjoyed it.

Ah yep, fair enough. I misinterpreted your post. I agree that people do make choices after terrible things have happened. There's a number of factors involved at the time that influence these decisions I guess.

Lets face it mate we all have a sub conscious mind that seams to dictate how we should go about things and what we find offensive.

    Who programed our reactions?

Some people react to good and bad things in vastly different ways.

How is it that some people react to bad things in a positive way....I dont know....if its bad I react bad as most do.

All I know is life sux, you pay tax and than you die.....and on every second day its great.

This post makes no point at all

    Gotta stop drinking :rofl

"I rode around on a push-bike, ran and walked to book shops & libraries for two years researching on how to get my story out there. I got a business card from a little bookshop in Swan Hill and took it from there."

    Hardly handed to him Ash...

Who are the fighters he got as tats? I'd have a guess and say Ali and Louis, but can't make it out clearly.
