Interesting and not sure if its been reported before. It seems Ray Arcel actually saw Jack Dempsey fight in New York before Dempsey became champion. Also interesting that he says Dempsey did not impress him initially due to Jack hating his first trip out to NY: This content is protected
I recall he said the same thing to a boxing magazine that he though Dempsey would have given Ali hell. What a list of champions he had! He probably is the greatest trainer of all time
