Has anybody seen or heard of Bermane Stiverne? I am from canada and I never heard of this guy but looks like he fought must of his career in the USA . Looks to have some power and looking to use Ray austin as a stepping stone? He stopped David price( new british hype) and Helenius in a tournment in Finland in 2004!

    Anybody know anything ?

He is a upcoming heavyweight hope...wow I'm surprised he is stepping up to Ray Austin already. Not that Austin is anything special, I just am used to the young guys taking on cans until they get ready for moving up.

This might be a interesting fight to guage his readiness to go top level. I would like to see this, hope it's televised or on a stream soon!

Good amatuer background. Hard hitting. Loss to Demetrice King was a quick stoppage.

Weakensses are that he is smallish and does come in out of shape (the King fight).

DK will probably try to get the WBC to make this an eliminator for Vitali since they are both rated. How many chances is Austin gonna get? Doesn't DK realize Austin is ****.

at least Stiverne is a fresh face, hits hard and seems to put his shots together well. Maybe he is untested at this time but i would rather see a new face as opposed to Rahman, Holyfield, Safety Pin Johnson et al
