Ray Beltran should fight Verdejo not Loma.

    Ray Beltran should fight Verdejo not Loma. He is 36 years old and it took a long time to finally get a title. I would hate to see him lose it on his first defence. With Verdejo there is a very good chance he would beat him. Unless they offer him really big money to fight Loma(probably wont happen). Rigundeax only got 400k.

    I think he is recovered from the accident, this is a pretty even fight slight edge to Beltran. Loma will destroy Beltran.

    Sounds good to me, although I'd rather be retired by Loma than by Verdejo, I think both of them beat him at this point. Even as underwhelming as Felix has looked recently.

    I think Verdejo can beat Beltran and Loma-Verdejo would be a better fight to sell to the public.

    Loma beats the pair of them

    I don't see how Beltran can be ready to fight Lomachenko after those cuts, he doesn't have time to heal..................Lomachenko would totally out class Beltran, I want Beltran to get one good payday, then he can afford to lose a fight................but not until them. Hope Trump does not kick him out of America, Trump hates Mexicans!

    I agree, mostly because I'd love to see Ray get one more big W (and expose that P.R. hype job in the process) and ride off into the sunset. Them not fighting really doesn't hurt Lomachenko, either, he still has plenty of probably better options left anyway.

    They had 2 good fights! Last one at the olympics was a close one and verdejo was a kid! Even know Verdejo kills Paper skin Linares

    Look, I'm a fan of Felix, I did a thread on him fairly early, but's badly regressed, and looked pretty horrible in his last 4 or 5 matches, either early in his pro career he was just being matched well, or he's lost a step, not sure what it is, but he needs to pull it together, but I have a hard time seeing him beat anyone near Linares' level at this point. Beltran yes, he's ripe for the picking, he's barely made it past Vasquez and Moses.
