    He never "sounds" like I would think he sounds while narrating.

    I'm just so used to hearing him with accents or deepened voices in his roles

    I think you mean ‎Liev Schreiber. Ray Donovan is a great show, one of my favorites. I suggest everyone check it out if you have Showtime.
