Still no link on Sky Sports.

Here's a video of Joe Calzaghe advising Ricky on drug rehab.

Please have the common courtesy to thank Griff for the upload.

Ray looks genuinely upset there. Anyone claiming he's simply 'putting on' his emotions in this vid is a cretin. Whether Hatton actually is ill (mental illness isn't something that should be joked about either) or he would have ever gone to rehab if he wasn't in the position where he was forced to is another story, but here are two parents who are genuinely worried about their child's wellbeing. How would you react to such news?

    You the man, Griff:thumbsup.

I'm guessing Ray got paid for that interview.

''The defeats lead him to drink''... yeah, so did the victories apparently. Do the math.

Its so sadly predictable though - Hatton was always heading for trouble - just seeing the way this lad behaved throughout his career.

Take away the discipline and the focus of training camps, etc - and he just got all them millions to spend on any old ****.

Also I believe - he really is deep down effected by the Pac Man loss - he got totally destroyed - and I think its done damage to his psyche.

Ricky's mum is rubbing here nose a lot at 1.50 in the video. Do you reckon they're all at?

look at the state of him ..... ballooning up and down in weight
    difficulties in breathing

Time for his toughest fight to start. Hope we dont see him signing himself out this week as can happen quite often with these situations.

Hope he makes a full recovery then he can focus his attentions on his career as a promoter.

    All the best Ricky

More I think about this the more the Team Hatton reaction disappoints. I do sympathise with his family but this smacks of celebrity damage limitation.

From getting ****ing Clifford involved to blaming 'behaviour' on depression at disappointing fans and saying they're surprised when everyone knows they weren't. Its not like he was found in an alley crying his eyes out sat on the streets with a crack pipe, or injecting himself was junkies.

He was just filling the void in his life from fighting with partying and overdoing it a bit (which was a lot of his everyman appeal previously) and unlike before he didnt have an excuse to stop. Hypocrisy of 'shame' seems perverse. How many of 40k fans who went to Vegas would be upset that Ricky took coke? I'd guess less than 2%.

*I may have slightly exaggerated, but **** loads do.
