Just that he didnt really want Ricky to return the ring and that he will be backing him no matter what.
I thought he came out with some good points, although he didnt say he was delighted about Ricky returning to the ring, he said he would back him. What were these problems in Ricky's training camp for the Pacquiao fight because I have read alot about them but never knew what they were. I still think Ricky Hatton has a lot left to give and he gets far too much un-necessary grief on this forum.
He did come out with good points and say the right things and what most people are thinking but like usual it will have been wind and ****. The problems in the camp is that Ricky is a decent fighter and they realised Ricky was going to belucky to last 4 rounds.
Oh yes you did Ray :nono :good A Hatton family trait over the years (Although its a trait that seems to have alluded Matthew)
Looked like a total breakdown in the relationship with Floyd Sr. On the 24/7 Sr was rocking up late to training, didn't give a ****. And on fight night he barely made it to the arena in time for the fight. I'm not blaming Sr, because I don't know what the cause of the disharmony was. But when he wasn't there until really late on fight night I knew there were BIG problems. You don't ditch your whole training team like Hatton did and expect to mix it with Pacquiao - he got spanked accordingly. Hatton had what looked like serious issues with Graham too in the build up to the Floyd fight, looks like he's a pain in the arse to train, hence the yes-man in Lee Beard.
