I think Ricky himself makes subtle excuses after his defeats anyway.

Following both losses its-....'you know Wicky Hatton,wears his heart on his sleeve,in head first, giving the fans what they want,not thinking of defense,.....blah de fukin blah.
Pisses me off all that 'oh silly me i made a mistake' crap when a better boxer gets the better of him.
Just win the fukin fight by NOT doing all the crap above,...but.... if you fail, spare us all the BS.

 

I hate this 'mistake' crap that British boxers seem to be coming out with these days. Khan lost to that Columbian dude because he made a mistake? Nothing to do with the fact that his opponent was actually a lightweight rather than a featherweight? Maccarinelly made a mistake against Haye? Nothing to do with Haye being one of the best boxers in the world and Enzo being, well, ****.

Hatton comes out with the same excuses every time he looks like crap.

Urango: I had a chest infection but I fought anyway because I didn't want to let me fans down.

Mayweather: I fought the wrong fight... the ref... it's getting boring Ricky.

Lazcano: Looking back I probably should have pulled out because I had a terrible chest infection but I couldn't let me fans down. I said 'I couldn't let me fans down!'

Pacquiao: Where do we start? Firstly he shouldn't have taken the fight for various reasons that didn't seem to be a problem for the Malignaggi fight, but, again, he couldn't let those fans down. And then to make matters worse, when he does fight he goes and makes a mistake!

Clearly Hatton can only lose if he makes a mistake or fights when he shouldn't.

I don't hate him like others but its complete bull**** saying his attitude lost him the fight and that its more embarrassing when someone outboxes you for 12 rounds....His 2 losses are embarrasing-no embarrassment in losing to the 2 guys hes lost to but the way hes lost after all that he said in the build up is embarrasssing

As for Ray saying that wasn't his son in the ring...it was.Everything that was wrong/crude about Hatton throughout his whole career surfaced in them 2 rounds.No jab,no feints,no head movement,lunging in wildly with hooks and dropping his hands or hands too low in the first place.It was all there and Ray is a **** for saying this

If he doesn't get his own way in fights he gets himself DQ'd

Well if that is the case (where can the video be viewed or have The Sun said that too?) then I'd be seriously disappointed to hear it, because clearly no excuses are needed (other than being in the ring with the best boxer in the world).
