Yeah I have some thoughts. it seems suspicous to me that he wouldnt mention Camacho or Norris, the two guys that kicked his ass. I think he tries to downplay them becuz of the embarassment. he didnt like the taste of leather at the end of a quick sharp punch

The Hagler he faced was subpar, mediocre, completely worn out,, and wouldnt face nunn or McCallum

Ray Leonard was the Tommy Burns of his time

he's definitely stretching it. "The closest thing to death". No wonder he gets compared with Ali; he mimics his every move

Truth is, all they did was look at each other, trade jabs. that was about it. Very dull, slow paced bout

that excuse may work for him once but that's twice he failed against the two best fighters he met: Ray Leonard and Hearns

They were just better and faster, that's why he dropped lopsided decisions to both

Kalule did own the jr middleweight title whereas Geraldo had none. I would dare to say kalule was stronger

he's actually mentioning Floyd sr becuz of his son's name recognition. Floyd sr had problems with his ranking

Speed? You'd have to give that to Terry Norris. that's why Ray couldnt touch him

So you're saying Hagler was ducking challengers at the end of his reign Red?Most specifically Nunn and McCallum?

I remember a live interiew of him on yutube some time back, and he clearly said Hearns was his most difficult, and Hearns Hand against Benitez was severly broken in his decision win. He would of gotten Benetez out of there earlier because He stunned Wilfred often. And with Hagler?? That darn hand,I guess that's the way it goes

I would praise someone who I thought was a mirror of myself, rather than call someone like Duran the best "boxer." Duran was a great boxer, but he was an even better fighter.
