Although l disagree that Floyd beats either a prime Duran or SRL l have no problem with anyone ranking him in the top 20 if he gets to 50-0 and retires undefeated.

 

I'd go with SRL by decision. Floyd's style gives him some trouble, but when push comes to shove...Ray would make a fight of it, and win...

 

Beating a Prime ATG in Pac would have made a big difference in terms of legacy. .

Now you may still rank Floyd as a TOP 20 ATG, but we all know that you are a Floyd fan.

 

I can't see past Leonard in this fight, although I admire Mayweathers skills greatly. Leonard has everything Mayweather has, plus size, strength, and more importantly power.

 

And perish the thought that some might consider you to be a Pac**** with your " If Floyd didn't fight Pac, that's his problem " quote.

Tell me, are you too dim to see that works both ways, or are you simply unaware of your bias towards Pac?

This is not about Pac at all. We are actually discussing Floyd's legacy.Why do you want to bring up Pac's legacy ?

No one has mentioned Pac's legacy, other than you. What you did infer was it is detrimental to Mayweather's legacy that he didn't fight Pac in 2010. That is the kind of logic that either fools or Pacturds use.

It is now plain to see that a huge slice of Pac's credibility has gone down the drain, due to him hiding behind Arum's coat tails for years to avoid the fight until they saw signs of Mayweather ageing and getting hit more often ( the same goes for the cretinous Roach ) and after being comprehensively out boxed he came out with frankly schoolgirl like excuses about injuries, and bad training camps.

No credibility at all.

 

For most of us this is ends up being the bottom line yet strangely enough despite all this clear advantages some posters just can't accept the obvious.

See SRL-Benitez, minus the kd's and late stoppage. SRL struggled a bit with the defensively sound El Radar, but he was still going to win a clear decision had the kd's not occurred, and the final bell rung. I think the same holds true against Mayweather.

 

First of all you seem to be biased by indicating that beating prime Pac would not have improved Floyd's legacy.This in itself is a completely ridiculous claim, thus my time in responding to you will be limited from now on.

Secondly, it seems that you are unable or unwilling to get the simple point I was trying to make.Had Floyd beaten a prime Pac, he would have been a Top 20 ATG, in my book.:deal Now you may disagree but that is my point.

Mayweather is better than Benitez though.

 

Yeah, I'm surprised that so many folks see Benitez as a great comparison for Floyd Mayweather. Either Benitez is one of the most overrated smaller modern fighters on this forum or the people here just haven't really watched many Mayweather fights.
