This is a tough fight for Leonard. Hopkins is a big enough middleweight and is quick. Probably not as quick as the young Ray Leonard, but the 1987 Ray he was probably almost as quick as. Ray studied Hagler for years and knew what to do, but against Hopkins I think he would be a little too small and lose a decision. Ray fought the perfect fight against Hagler in 1987, and had it not been for the sentiment for Ray the fight might have looked much different. As that fight happened, I remember thinking wow Ray sure if fighting great for being off and against Marvin, who was seen as a tough guy back in 1987.

I think Hopkins takes it but Leonard is by no means without a chance. He has a lot of tools to cause problems for Bhop. Hopkins may be a little taller but he dosent have much of a reach advantage here so i am not sure its his size that does it for him , more the fact the he is younger and closer to his prime that Leonard could be in the fight. I think it would be close on the cards but i think Hopkins just takes a win.
