Ray Leonard would have dazzled Moore for the first 3 rounds with superior hand and foot speed before suddenly ending it in the 4th round with two knockdowns scored before a compassionate referee would intervene. Utterly no contest.

hows he going to end it in 4 rounds? Ray might win this but this is life and death for him. No contest my ass!

He couldnt even tko Geraldo and the Geraldo had no chin.

It took him forever to take out kalule and Kalule doesnt have Moore's power. he couldnt even take out Kevin Howard in 4 and was decked himself. Remember what a struggle that turned out and dont tell me about his layoff. he was only 27 and nearly twice his size. he should have put him away much sooner. leonard at 154 was just another good fighter.

Kalule was a great fighter with serious skills.

Is there some shame in not taking him out period, none the less taking "forever" to do so?

Kalule was not a great fighter even in his own time. He was never considered great and I certainly would not consider him as great just for hanging in with Leonard for 9 rounds.

The best thing I can say about him is that he seemed durable but maybe he really wasnt because every time I can remember seeing him he was stopped by someone of rank.

Ayub had no speed. Dont bother going through the trouble of denying it, I've seen enough of him to know that he didnt. And if that wasnt bad enough he had no punch. Therefore he was no threat to the good fighters and seen as nothing more than a stepping stone.

    sugar ud.
moore was a tough tough dude and leonard isnt as destructive as duran was. maybe flashier and more snappier with the combo's but he wasnt methodic in his break down of opponants.

sugar wins 9 to 12 roudn though

Ray stops him within 8 in a one sided fight. Moore was good, but the differance in talent between these two was HUGE, and it would show.
