Ray Leonard vs. Felix Trinidad

Let me just say. I pick Leonard to KO Trinidad as well. I posted that in the opening of this thread. I created this thread just to match them up and get some oppinions. I cannot sit through Oscar running around Trinidad. I simply cannot do it. I will take your word Oscar outboxed him. Leonard does not run, he fights. He can and will move but usually hit uses hi speed to out manuever his opponents and unload powerful and fast combinations.

Trindad is Ray equal, maybe superior in power alone, where he is lacking, and this will probably cost him, is his weak ring cutting and defense. Still, in his prime at welter and with Leonard's fight style I can see Trinidad give Leonard as much a fight if not better than Benitez did. I don't see any harm to Leonard in saying that.

When was Trinidad a push over at welter? Even at middleweight Hopkins never stopped moving. He knew if he did and started exchanging the fight would have changed right then and there. Bold statement? Perhaps. But, I studied that fight for it's beauty, and I think Hopkins knew better, even being naturally stronger.
