Leonard was much smaller than GGG but still managed to go up to higher divisions.
If we are assuming a prime GGG then the only question is does Ray hear the final bell
I don’t like SRL as a person at all but as a prizefighter he’s a all time great he’s beats GGG by UD.
SRL is a horrible man nothing like nice guy 3G who says "hehe no worry i lost, i good boy this time no prob" a true gent, but hes ATG. If elite can narrowly beat 3G, then ATG "might" stop him.
ray might stop him for sure yes. but i would argue points win for him.
The SRL who beat Hagler beats any version of GGG.
Sugar Ray Leonard UD.
I have to agree, though Leonard is possibly my all time favourite fighter so I'm probably bias
Leonard. Wouldn't be his hardest fight either
SRL by clear win
Just because a protected and roided up Canelo was able to be competitive enough to get gift decisions against a 35 year old GGG doesn’t mean Leonard beats a prime Gennady. And Ray was dropped and hurt by lesser punchers.
On an equal playing field without corruption or paid off judges... GGG by UD after dropping Ray a couple of times. Gennady’s Jab would play a big part.
SRL and I like G but he couldn't Ko Canelo
Laugh all you want but at the end of the day GGG is one of the best middleweights of all time and an outstanding pressure fighter with a better jab than Haglar had.
It’s REALLY not beyond the realms of possibility GGG beats Leonard.
What fights do you base this opinion of G from?
