Leonard never fought pro at 140 but either way he would be too powerful for Taylor, no way SRL loses this fight.

And it would be by KO/TKO.

You bring up a very good point that Leonard never fought at 140. Which could mean that he may not have been able to comfortably make the weight. On the other hand it was Taylor's best weight. All things being even I would pick Leonard to win by decision picking his spots and taking away the advantage that Taylor might have by being the busier boxer.

I see Leonard as simply better at everything over Taylor, still not an easy fight but 1 he would dominate with some tough moments

    Agreed,

there may have been a very brief period, around the time that Taylor defeated Aron Davis for the WBA welterweight title, that he might have given a prime Leonard a decent match. But, at the end of the day Sugar wins regardless.

Leonard by late-round TKO. Though very skilled, Meldrick would tire late, due to weight gain.

technically i cant pass judgement because of the obvious points people have already made on the weight. But if this could happen lets say in a 'p4p' sense, then Leonard would hurt him imo

Leonard has ring generalship, footwork and power over him, while slightly behind in handspeed and workrate. If it ever comes to it that Meldrick Taylor is winning the boxing match with his handspeed and workrate, I honestly believe Leonard has the heart, chin and sharp punches to walk through Taylor and jolt his chin much like he did against Hearns.

Don't see Leonard losing this match ever.

Ray would be weight drained at 140 yet I still see him prevailing here

Makes NO sense at 140! Ray would never make the weight. Its only fair to make the fight at 147, and take the Taylor that beat Aaron Davis. In which case...... its still a mismatch. Leonard KO 6.
