Ray Leonard vs. Pernell Whitaker

I remember having the fight 7 rounds to 5 for Whitaker, all rounds were scored 10-9. That's one round short of a draw. That's pretty close. According to you it was a knock down away from a draw. I don't know if you are sarcastic in saying "all McGirt had to do was drop Whitaker," implying that Whitaker is hard to hit. Even if you were being sarcastic, isn't two points rather close?
