Puh-leeez..... That would be a young SRL, at his fastest. Even Floyd wouldn't have a shot. And if he fought a young Hagler at, say 150-154, there'd be nothing left but a grease spot. Kids today ....
Lol you mean the Ray Leonard at 154 that got knocked down by Kevin Howard? or the Ray that got whooped by Terry Norris?
Ray was far more versatile than Money. Cotto would have been stopped by round 9 or earlier. Cotto doesn't have the speed to keep up.
Are you kidding, wait are you talking about another Ray Leonard ? Not the Leonard that beat Hearns, Durant and Hagler right ? not that one ?
That was Leonard's absolute greatest victory. A welterweight beating a 6-11 slick/black athletic freak...we're not going to see that duplicated for a long time.
Pretty crazy Leonard even took that fight with Hearns on the horizon. He could've done so much worse in terms of quality. Arum thought it was ridiculous he'd even consider it at that point. Hearns fought Pablo Baez that night. Kalule was no push over, really good scalp.
I didn't know SRL was in the NBA.. Or maybe Durant was a boxer? :think :rofl You are right.. We are not talking about the same SRL.. :thumbsup
