Ray Leonard would have destroyed PacMan and Mayweather?

It is ridiculous to try to argue that the Mayweather style didn't give SRL problems, watch the fights. At 147 it would be an epic chess match to see SRL vs. PBF, saying it would be a walkover for either party is outright stupid.

SRL fought lesser fighters and did not destroy them.

SRL wins but not so sure about destroying. He is too big for both fighters.

Assuming that both Pac and Gayweather would have the size and built of SRL, then forget about destroying!!!!

ummm.... you say Mayweather gave SRL no difficulties, which is false. THEN you say SRL dominated Benitez, which is STUPIDLY false. That was one of the hardest fights of SRL's career.

You didn't watch these fights man. Obviously. So go do it, THEN post about them.

Leonard DID dominate the Benitez fight. He didn't have much trouble at all doing his thing. I gave Benitez a few rounds obviously but most of it was controlled by Sugar Ray! He even stopped him late to seal the deal.
Not even close. The first Duran fight, both hearns fights, and the lalonde fight were harder. That is not even debatable. Leonard had his way with Benitez.

If you watch Leonard in slow motion compared to Floyd or Pac he just far quicker and hits far harder. More importantly he could take punches from Duran and Hearns at welterweight, so there is no way he gets taken out by Pac or Floyd.

If watch Leonard in slow motion and then Pac or Floyd you will realise Leonard is way to quick for either of them. Also they have never fought a fighter who fights at such a pace.

I said Pac is 2x the fighter, which may have been a little exaggeration, I should of said Duran lost 90% of all his big fights, and was simply a b class fighter in his era and was short of elite, which is something Pac very much is.

    Not a fair comparison.

SRL is a big weleterweight while Pac and Gayweather probably best weights are between 135-140.

Did sugar ray ever take the test?......didn't manny steward say sugar ray juiced....anyway was there even any testing in that era????

People look at fighter from the past with rose tinted glasses and downgrade the current era....this eras fighter match any of those they just never had terrestrial TV exposure .....the advantage of being onational TV is u can brain wash an era of viewers easier than the PPV fighter

The **** he did. SRL says the Benitez was one of the most difficult fights he was ever in. He says fighting Benitez was like trying to fight the man in the mirror and he was harder to hit than any other opponent he ever faced. SRL didn't start taking over the fight until the very late rounds. MY source is the man himself. What's YOUR source?

He's clearly better than either...at his best weight. I doubt he stops either guy, but neither fight is competitive.
