Ray Mancini vs. Hector Camacho

    I've never seen this fight, just read about it.

    What are your opinions on it? How close was it on your card?

    It was close but Hector won it. Hector did his moving and evading style and Mancini pressed, but Hector pretty much controlled the action.

    I had it 116-112 (In agreement with 1 judge) for Mancini, and feel he was way more active and effective. I have watched this a number of times and it is one of my favorite Mancini performances but not necesarily a great fight to watch. Mancini stalked camacho in the very large ring, and camacho back peddled. I am not ordinarily a basher of camacho, but don't see anyway he scored this decision. most of the fans in the crowd were also a bit surprised and disappointed over this decision!

    My recollection is similar to this. I think I had it a little closer but felt the Mancini was the clear winner. Mancini forced the fight and Camacho wasn't busy enough.
