I either did a thread on this a couple of years ago..or added it a hypotetical thread don't remember and couldn't find it search (who knows maybe even another forum)..I seem to remember a majority (not as close as I thought) for mancini. It seems many thought mancini to be to strong.

I think that Lopez has some underrated skills, and holds an advantage in that department. Both guys liked to take it to you, and don't think either guy is going to be hard to find. Mancini probably applies more pressure and is more intentional about it and will likely impose his will a little more (not quite hattonesque, but maybe along that line without the excesive holding). I am not sure that lopez can back Mancini up, but don't necesarily believe mancini will overwhelm Lopez either physically. When lopez was in with chavez (a different kind of pressure I know) he stood his ground and didn't back-up, not even when he was cut and again not even as it worsened. You might just as well put them in a phone booth, because they will both be ther all night to hit and get hit.

I could see it going either way and outside of cuts don't see a stoppage..and I guess that could be either guy but more likely mancini. On the whole this should be closely contested almost every round and the entire fight! neither guy is a defensive wiz, although both probably have underrated skills. They are more than the crude slugger, brawler, warrior they are often portrayed as/ I would lean towards lopez being slightly more skilled, although less intense. Lopez by a very close decision over 12 or 15.
