I feel like it could go either way, but if Ibeabuchi puts up numbers like he did in the Tua fight, he could win a decision off of busyness alone. This scenario is also very likely, as even a past it Witherspoon could outwork Mercer.
Ike definitely. He has everything Mercer has, but even better and is fresher, in my opinion he clearly wins by a point, or only in the late rounds.
IMHO the fight with Lewis is Mercer's peak. Ike had some nice wins, but I guess we haven't seen Ike's peak. Ike wins by decision; unanimous but not too convincing.
I actually lean towards Ray especially since we are talking the Ray from the Lewis fight. I mean, he damn near beat one of the greatest heavyweights ever that night while Ike's best win was against a naturally smaller Byrd who mostly exploited slower heavyweights. I like Ray's jab to be the difference maker
I think Ibeabuchi busts him up. Fresher, bigger and stronger. He was keen to exchange with Tua of all people so Mercer wouldn't bother him. Ike is pretty slow as a puncher but Mercer's defence consists of eating all the punches on offer like Dustin Nichols at a all you can eat buffet.
