I'm going to this card. I know the Merciless one is shot to pieces.........how about this guy Rossy? He seems to have mixed with hald-decent comp. and lost TKO to Chambers. I never seen him.....what to expect from this guy?

funny....it's being advertised as 'p4p best championship boxing'

Rossy fought a hard fight against Chambers and broke both ear drums, because of Chambers 'cupping' with his punches. Rossy continued to fight but it was stopped eventually. He should win this fight.

    really:huh

it was a decent fight rossy is a football player turned boxer and he is preety good even with his extra bulky shoulders.

has a decent enough jab, can move a bit but his main asset is coming in behind a jab and then throwing aright hand and backing the guy up and then maul them.

chambers in the first 2 rounds of the fight was getting bullied around by rossy's right hand ramrodding at his guard really backing him up (not hurt just wasnt big enough to out muscle him) anyways eddie got into his rhythm and totally outhustled him. when rossy came in with the jab chambers kept his hands super high and tight. then when rossy was close he would throw great flurry's in an offbeat rhythm while rossy threw a hook he would throw 6 shots back and block for the rest of the fight and after a while the eyes went and blood streamed from the corners then a huge swelling over rossy's (i think left eye but could be wrong) over his "left" eye totally closed cut.

then chambers threw everything at him and rocked him and started to back him up.

this was a masterclass from chambers and a great fight for both of them. they could of fought inside a telephone booth and have very similar results.

    anyways.
rossy's a decent fighter i would think he could be a contender and he is a good swrmer/infighter uses his wieght effectivly and has a decent inside game. just fought a man who was more technically sound in eddie chambers.

i think mercer is not going to survive or even get anywhere near cometative.

    bless:rasta

Mercer fought recently in Copenhagen and won by first round knockout against some undefeated guy. Id bet on Mercer to win this fight too.
Discount the Kimbo slice incident last june, there was no boxing in that fight, Kimbo wrestled it straight to the ground which is what he spent months training to do and won on the ground via a choke hold. Nice couple of minutes work though for 50K if you can get it for Ray.

Rossy was almost imploded by Chambers... Ray would bust that face wide open..

If Rossy can't be Mercer he should retire.

Chambers completely outclassed the game but limited Rossey. If Mercer has anything left he will Ko Rossy
Rossy has little power for his size and not a great chin - he will never be a contender

If Rossy beats Mercer. I would like to see him try to get a bout with Joe Mesi. That could be a test for both.

If he does win it would be a nice win to go out on. Rossy is ranked higher than him by Boxrec.com

Sad, just 10 years ago Ray Mercer had maybe the best chin i'd ever seen...
