Ray Mercer by UD Just a much better boxer with varied skills, good power & a solid chin. Tua has 2 of those qualities.................
Very Good match up. Both with crunching power. Both have come up big and small in big fights. Both have come out of shape for many fight. I will go with Mercer on this, he had the much better jab, and when needed he has used it. Not like he shouldv'e but used it all in the same.
I think Tua wins a decision. Normally he would not outbox Mercer, but I think he would hit Mercer, and Mercer had a good chin and that would keep Mercer respectful and out of his fight. Mercer was not that great. He was good but not great.
I favour Mercer in this one and I think he simply just does more than Tua. This fight would be similar to Mercer - Cooper.
Mercer by UD. Tua could NEVER, EVER solve a good jab. Mercer had a great jab, and would build a good lead on points. Tua wouldn't be scoring a come from behind knockout in this one.
