You can take just about any fighter in history and go 100% negative on them, it's never pretty.

Pink wasn't on drugs going into the Tyson fight.

No, he wasn't. He relapsed immediately after getting his ass kicked.

    Remind me again...what Tua achieved?

I'll make a cup of tea in the meantime.....this might take a while.

Mercer on points, no one is scoring a knockout in this one.

So why is nobody asking whether Mercer would beat Joe Louis?

He at least had some competitive fights against the best heavyweights of his era.

Tua seems to get between people and their good senses!

Have to agree on Mercer's lack of punching power. If Lenni can survive 12 rounds against him without going down, then the guy seriously must be lacking in punching power.

Mercer took Lewis and Holyfield to the brink of defeat, if indeed he didn’t have an argument for having won.

Tua just got clowned whenever he fought a top fighter.

Power on its own is not worth two buckets of warm spit!

    Just because A beat B and B beat C doesn't mean A beats C.

    That's nice.

Now answer my question, what did Tua actually achieve?

I showed you proof that Louis was trying to keep Galento around until the 10th round or after. Otherwise he would have stopped him before the 3rd. Galento hadn't been off his feet before the Louis fight so that says a lot about Louis too.

You just have a vendetta against anyone other than Foreman.

It is good that you are starting to learn about boxing styles, but you still overvalue power.

If all that it took to beat an all-time great was Tua like power, then history would have been very different.

Punchers like Tua fail when they step up in class for a reason.

    They are one trick ponies.

To quote Lennox Lewis “he is going to need more than a left hook, and a silly haircut, to beat me”

I think that most great fighters would have said the same.
