    Levels…of gaslighting

Schmeling wins on points, if he doesn’t frustrate Mercer into simply giving up late on.

The vastly underrated Max on points.

I pick Schmeling on points. His right continuously scores points.

Schmeling had the ring smarts and mobility to win a decision. But if he gets caught in a flurry by Ray Mercer he could also be stopped

Schmeling at his best dispatches punchers like a veteran hunter hunting a bull moose(does that mean he's Theodore Roosevelt then?)

    Ray Mercer by KO.

Schmelling had issues with rough and tough fighters like Baer and Sharkey. And Mercer is rough and tough.

Schmelling’s best assets were his amazing straight right hand and his good head and upper body movement. But Mercer had an iron chin.

I don’t think Schmelling had that much power on his jab. It’s more of a range finder.

I think Mercer walks trough Schmelling and stops him on the ropes. Schmelling was a Light-Heavyweight that matured later into a Heavyweight. But the majority of his fights, the first 40 or so were as a Light-Heavyweight. I don’t think he has the strength to stand up to Mercer.
