Former WBO heavyweight champion Ray Mercer (35-6-1, 25 KOs) needed just :48 to crush local favorite Mikael Lindblad (24-6, 15 KOs) on Saturday night in Karlstad, Sweden. Two hard jabs and an overhand right from "Merciless" Ray ended Lindblad's night.

oh yeah mercer making a comeback to become the next great heavyweght champion woooooo!!!

ya know, I respect the effort and ability Mercer once displayed against Lewis:good

After the embarrassment against Kimbo Slice??

    :finger

Ray, you arent part of the HW Championship scene:nono

You're another old timer trying to gain his shine back. That officially ended with the MMA stunt and embarrassing loss, in the KO to Briggs/

We'll remember you as one hell of a tough HW in his prime, but thats ****ing it!!!! wouldnt pay 2 cents, nor do I care to see anything of the current "comeback":nonono :nonono :nonono :nonono :nonono

mercer was down against musashi and lost on points to him in k1 and gave up after the first kick from bonjasky. that tells you how good he is these days. that he wasn't even able to hurt musashi really depresses me...

Moneymaking fight. Mercer is still a really well know name and he sells in places that people dont get to see too many stars. And fighting local D-level fighters is easy moneymaking as well.

his fight vs kimbo was under mma rules. that doesn't count. mma is an entirely different sport.

He should retire the mans like 47, he had a good run beating a couple good boxers and lost to some great fighters in close matches. Ray Mercer losing to that no talent Kimbo Slice was a shock to me, I guess thats what you call hitting rock bottom.
