Ray Mercer's K.O of Morrison most brutal ever?

Yeah, it's a pretty damn brutal KO. The ref failed hard there. Tommy took so many shots after he was completely out cold.

 

Yeah that was frickin brutal, took way too many shots, referee was lucky Mercer didn't kill him because he would have been to blame if he had.

The Emile Griffith/Kid Paret KO was even worse in my opinion, they way he was bent back, out cold and Griffith just teeing off on him was sickening.

 

It's up there so many fights to choose from. Here is another brutal heavyweight knockout that could of ended badly.

Same thing with Ken Norton. ****ey brutalized him.

It may not be the most brutal one of Ray's career. The Jeff Pegues one edges it out for me.

Damn that and the Morrison KO shows Ray really lived up to that "Merciless" moniker.

Marciano-Walcott. And it was one shot. Man was out cold for 5 minutes

 

Where the hell was the ref?

That shoulda been be a knock down. The only thing holding Morrison up was the ropes. So the ref should of stepped in and started counting. Instead Morrison got hit by a 15 punch combo because the lousy ref didnt do his job.

 

Those fights ended with their natural conclusion, would have said a guy here.
