Mercer would be behind on points but at some point ray catches up with haye and brutally KOs him.wouldn't be pretty.

Haye decision. Mercer likely would be complacent in allowing Haye to potshot. I feel like Wlad would've disposed of him if he were so easy to knock out.

Haye gasses by the 5th using up everything he has to keep Mercer off him.

Mercer is harder for Haye than a 40 YEAR OLD thOmpson who stopped Haye.

If Lewis and Morrison throwing the kitchen sink couldn't keep Mercer off them , Haye wouldn't have a prayer.

I think Ray's come from behind win against Damiani was a once in a career thing.. Don't know if he's duplicating that against haye who's face isn't as fragile anyway.

Mercer by late stoppage or UD. I think the Mercer jab would keep Haye honest and the longer the fight goes the more vulnerable he'd become.

Haye potshots his way to a decision. Mercer was tough and strong but a plodder with poor ring IQ.

That's what I think. Lesser men than Haye have managed to finagle their way to a points win over Mercer.

    Don't be silly.

How could Haye beat Mercer throwing 2-4 right hands a round when Lewis barely won a decision throwing the kitchen sink.

Mercer dragged Lewis and Holyfield into fiery dog fights. Two top 10 ATG's.

But the complete no mark David Haye pot shots his way to an easy UD??? :patsch:nut

Lewis was thrown into a phone booth sized ring and squared up too much. Holyfield, who was coming off a long lay off to boot, did the same.

Obviously if Haye crashes into Mercer he gets blown out, but that's not his style. Mercer even at his best had a lazy, sporadic workrate and poor IQ in the ring. Fact.

Say what you want about Haye, but he never got outboxed by a non entity like Jesse Ferguson. And that's just one of Mercers many poor performances.

I fear Haye will gas. If he can't get him out there with his best shots early into the fight, he is going to get discouraged. Haye also doesn't seem to be very smart while pacing himself, he made that mistake against Carl Williams and he was looking pretty gassed against Chisora as well.

I'll tell you a fact.. Mercer is better than Haye.. there's your fact.

Put Haye into that phone box with Lewis and he never fights again the battering would be so savage. You would honestly have to fear for his health.

Haye isn't a good mover so it doesn't matter what size the ring is vs Mercer. His balance is too poor and his stamina too weak to evade the dog fight he'd be dragged into.
Hed be cornered in and pulverized like Morrison was.
Haye never beat anybody like Jesse Ferguson , let alone Ray Mercer.
His HW record is an absolute joke.

The guy was a celeb boxer. He done nothing to prove he has any standing in h2h match ups.
