PHILADELPHIA (August 1, 2013)—This Friday night at the Bob Carpenter Center on the Campus of the University of Delaware, former amateur standout Ray Robinson will look for his most significant win as a professional when he takes on Ray Narh (26-2, 21 KO’s) in a 12 round battle for the USBA Welterweight championship.

The bout will headline a six bout card which will be streamed LIVE all over the world on the inaugural broadcast championship boxing on pandafeed.tv.

Robinson of Philadelphia has a record of 15-2 with six knockouts and he knows how important that a win on Friday night will be for his career.

“I am just going in there and I will use my experience”, said the 27 year-old Robinson.

With a win, not only will Robinson pick up the USBA title but it will put him in the IBF Rankings.

“Any kid wants this moment and I know a win will get me a step closer”.

“I want to fight for a world title and I am focused”

This will also be the first bout under the tutelage under new trainer of Derrick “Bozy” Ennis.

Ennis replaces longtime trainer Howard “Moses” Mosley and Robinson doesn’t feel he will skip a beat with the new trainer.

“Bozy has been in my corner before and I look at it as he is just adding on to whet Moses has already instilled in me”

“I have stayed in good shape and I didn’t have to lose weight in this camp”

Robinson owns his own gym called BoxFit and is always in the gym training and personal training clients.

In the ten round co-feature, Dorin Spivey (42-6, 30 KO’s) defends the NABA Lightweight title against Samuel Kotel Neequaye (20-0, 15 KO’s)

All six bouts will be televised beginning at 7pm eastern / 4 pm pacific

Also appearing on the undercard will be undefeated prospect Omar Douglas (8-0, 6 KO’s); Interim NABA Light Heavyweight champion Frankie Filippone (14-2-1, 2 KO’s) and Lightweight Joey Tiberi (9-1, 5 KO’s)

Tickets for the Live event cost $25, $35, $45, $65, and $95 and can be purchased atticketmaster.com and at the Bob Carpenter Center by calling 1-800-745-3000 and atwww.champsmanagement.com

Beating Nahr would go a long way to erasing memories of his loss to Joey Archer.

Wasn't this supposed to be on GFL? :huh

They don't currently have it on their upcoming programming schedule for tonight. Instead they have some wrestling show at 8pm EST.

    Was this canceled?
