If Pedraza is successful on saturday, then he will be pitted up against Beltran on august 25th. What are your guys thoughts about this potential fight?
This will be very interesting! I'm very interested to compare Beltran & Tank's performances against Pedraza. Tank was basically able to blitz Pedraza, Beltran-Pedraza should be a nice clash of styles
As far as I understand Loma should fight for this title in December (if his injury allows it). But Jose Pedraza is also a TR boxer, so a fight between him and Beltran is possible. But Beltran might not want to fight Pedraza... If he loses to him the opportunity to fight Lomachenko in a big fight will be gone.
Winnable fight for padraza if he stays away from a brawl, but I think beltrann might be to big and tough for the sniper to handle.
Ray Beltran says that Pac is really a lightweight and that he would be a monster at 135 or 140. Ray has worked w/ him for over 12 years. I trust his judgement.
I don't give a duck wut he says, his body has already acclimated to.the 147 pound division and hes thicker at that weight. Burning the extra poundage to get down to 135 will leave him depleted and vulnerable at that weight. It would be a disaster for Pac and his fans.
We should wait and see how Pedraza looks this weekend first. This is his first real step into the deep end of the pool at the weight, against a massive looking & young fighter.
