Round 1

Gallardo is playing keep-away, body turned 45° away from Pasillas, throwing a light needling left jab to stave Pasillas off. Lots of movement by Pasillas, upper body dipping and undulating as he bends his knees and surges in with a smooth right jab, exploring. Gallardo is diving in and trying for a body shot. Pasillas scores a jab and hooks off it with his right. Gallardo turns southpaw but is unable to make Pasillas flinch. Pasillas just keeps circling and scoring right jabs with a calm step in and out.

Gallardo is pawing with the left jab and throwing a wild upper-hook charging in, missing as Pasillas light-foots away with a counter right hook up top. Gallardo is ducking in and swinging blindly with thresher combos overhead. Pasillas easily dodges and keeps a jab pinned to Gallardo's coif.
