    Round 4

Ponomarev is doubling up on the long right hand lead. Zewski has swelling on his left eye socket. Ponomarev is sticking the jab through Zewski's guard and thumping underneath with ambidextrous softball-pitch body combos. Zewski is hopping around, putting out his jab but mostly kept shy offensively in what the commentators describe as largely a "stalemate" round with more posing than action.

    10-9 Ponomarev

    40-36 Ponomarev

Problem with Zewski is that he's trying to land that one shot now, needs to jab more, throw more combos, go to the body. He's just too predictable at the moment.

    Round 5

Ponomarev is taunting Zewski from outside, feinting and reaching in to poke with the jab while staying too far out for Zewski to catch with a counter. Ponomarev is unloading on Zewski on the ropes, nailing him on the upper cheek with lead right hands and then guillotining with the left. Zewski looking helpless for a moment but shuffles out the side door. Zewski loads up on a hook and misses. Ponomarev has the hook well-scouted, putting his left arm out to intercept the punch and leaving Zewski's arm suspended in the air before nailing him with a right hand counter.

    10-9 Ponomarev

    50-45 Ponomarev

Panomarev has a nice fluid style to watch. Slightly like a weaker version of Golovkin, but he is very very accurate, his footwork really is exellent and the way he picks his punches. He's got a bit of the Pirog in him with the feints. He really is having a coming out party in this fight, and should take home either a late TKO (in round 10) or a decision.

Problem is he seems to do a lot and has left question marks about his stamina, his lack of power also makes things tricky for him as well and his defense is well...not much better than Zewski's

    Round 3 Ponomarev
    Round 4 Even
    Round 5 Ponomarev
    Round 6 Zewski Close

I'm starting to think it was a good idea to put vCash on the Draw.

    Round 6

Ponomarev is tossing in long jabs and hanging back, not quite reaching with it before retreating. Zewski is using stutter-steps, only meeting Ponomarev less than halfway, not making himself so available as a target. Zewski connects on a well-timed counter right. Ponomarev is switching to southpaw on the outside. Back to orthodox. Long reaching jabs, falling short. 1-2 by Ponomarev banging against Zewski's guard. Zewski's puffing getting worse but he is leaning over to his left and timing Ponomarev with some nice hooks and saving the right for when Ponomarev wanders into range for it, not lunging, effective.

    10-9 Zewski

    59-55 Ponomarev
