    Ali beat an over-confident, over-trained Foreman who had drank a POISON medicine-flavor drink before teh fight And was tryin to KO Ali on v.loose ropes that swung back to take-away most of teh force of Foreman Haymakers.

    Tyson has a reason for overlooking Buster Douglas, because Douglas afterall was a bum/journeyman and Tyson had beat better fighters than Douglas, includng fighters who had BEAT Douglas.

    Foreman has no exuse for overlooking Ali, didnt he watch Ali upset Liston?
    Alis the GOAT...and Foreman overlooked him.....what a fool.

    The ropes werent loose, and Foreman wasnt posioned, he fought a foolish fight, ran out of gas and got PWNED by The GOAT.

    My thoughts exactly. James had better boxing fundamentals, but Ruddock's better conditioning and mental toughness, would somehow land him the win.

    Could go either way. Douglas could exploit Ruddock's lack of defense and clown him with his skill and combos, but Ruddock could also get to Douglas and KO or discourage him.

    So Foreman hadn't also beaten fighters that had beaten Ali?

    Yes but unlike Ali, Douglas had never shown that he was going pull some magical win out of a hat, hed pretty muched gassed and shown no heart in his biggest fight (Tucker) whereas Ali had proved that he can pull of upsets. Foreman should have been more aware than Tyson was
