Razor Ruddock going to fight this Saturday?

Where the hell did Razor get enough money to hire Ariza or Conte?! :blood

 

That was my first reaction when I saw the thread.
Anyone who gives him a license to fight should be burned alive.

 

211 lbs?!

 

This is almost as bad as Virgil Hill coming back, but at least Virgil was a top notch fighter.

 

The article says he's making a comeback tomorrow at a press conference where he will be showing off his ripped 211 lb frame (apparently). He won't actually be fighting tomorrow.

I'm not holding my breath on a comeback, he had a fight scheduled on Boxrec last year but it never happened. He's talked of comebacks several times but it's never actually happened, much like Riddick Bowe.

I think it's too light, his Prime weight was 228-238lbs of muscle.

Ruddock was better when he bulked up, he said post-fight he felt (& looked) even stronger in Tyson II.

Now he's 21 years older... but wants to be 27lbs lighter. :blood

Razor is appearing at the fights tomorrow to announce his comeback officially... He wishes to reveal his new look, He is a devout Vegan nowadays and looks superb. He is very serious about boxing again and in this climate i cant blame him... Rahman v Povetkin is a joke, I saw Hasim last year training and he is awful and cant hang with quite ordinary heavyweights in sparring so against Povetkin he is just all about the payday... Ruddock does look athletic and has added a lot of different tools to his arsenal.. He has a newly found right hand to compliment that huge trade mark left hook (smash) ....

Does he use lateral movement & his ramrod jab like he did in '89 against Bonecrusher?

 

Ruddock is the best heavyweight ever not to get a shot at a heavyweight title... He did deserve a shot back around 1990, but chose to fight the toughest heavyweight for no belts... God Bless..

 

This is true, but did you know Ruddock had a title shot in October '89 against Tyson, but it was cancelled...

Only seen a glimpse via a piece of footage a client sent me from Jamaica... He was working mitts and several bags... he is kinda quick and his body is NOTHING like he used to be..lmao... He is cut to bits, his diet has transformed his look, i only fear he may have lost a slight amount of natural power, but as far as speed and fitness , he is A1... He WILL beat Neven Paijeck.. He is too experienced and rangy... Very interesting though.. Its nice to see some new blood being injected into a slow division..

If Razor KO's Paijeck, I think he should make a youtube video calling out Tyson Fury for a fight in England.

 

The actual idea was set up in fact to have two fighters appear in one night v Tyson in Toronto.. One being Mike Dokes and the other Ruddock because Mike was beating opponents too handily... everything was agreed but the sanctioning was taking that long that Mike was forced to commit to the douglas fight.. the rest is history... Its not something i wished to see , but it was close to being set up.. In fact the only issue that was roadblocking it was who was to get the first shot on the night.. Dokes was actually scheduled to have the first spot.... Weird idea...
