Donovan 'Razor' Ruddock is set to make a comeback to boxing next Sat (28th) at the age of 51, having been out of the ring nearly 14 years.

Should this be allowed? Why/ why not?

I say no. Even if he passes all the medical checks- he's been out of the ring too long so this isn't Bernard Hopkins

he could probably win the Boxcino heavyweight tournament right now;)

Ruddock probably isn't going to fight a top heavyweight any time soon. So what if he fights Bronco Billy for old time's sake?

If he passes the physicals and signs the waiver... I guess so.

If they cared about the health of the person, Enzo Mac would have been forcefully retired a minute ago...

Good point. He would be Wilder's biggest test to date.

No.neither his chin or defense where good in his prime so judging by that joke of a video of him on the heavy bag on YouTube he's going to get seriously hurt by just about any active heavyweight fighter out there

His chin was actually really good in his prime.

He was stopped by Lewis and Tyson, not exactly cause to hang your head in shame. (the Jaco loss came about due to Ruddock gassing after having fought eight rounds with an undiagnosed respiratory disease that nearly ended his career)

Even past his prime in his thirties, he swapped a whole bunch of knockdowns hooking with a hooker in Morrison. He took what - half a dozen counts between actual downs and standing eights? - and kept fighting on until waved off.

Sorry I'll take back the Tyson fights, his chin was solid then,I think Tyson broke him tho,Lewis definitely finished the job, either way it'll be a hell of a lot worse now.im not disrespecting him he was a good fighter but look at him on the heavy bag on YouTube and u will c my point
