Razor had a good jab and right hand but for some perverse reason just wanted to blitz everyone with his "smash".Coetzee was known for his bionic right cross, but actually developed a decent left hook and improved his game. So I feel , unless Gerrie walks into Razor's left he wins this by dec or late stoppage. imo

Ruddock has to get off the canvas and I believe Coetzee aint taking Rudocks smash...... he landed it on a slightly diminshed Tyson.... he can land it on Gerrie at will.

Ruddock KO........Coetzee's is too game and that will be his undoing.

That's it with Razor ,he'd try and bomb every one out later in his career. So Gerrie rides the storm and I reckon stops a blowing Ruddock in the last couple of round .

I think Ruddock was the better overall and would win by KO.

I think that Ruddock can go into deeper waters if this goes toe to toe too often.

Ruddock was more wide open for a big punch than Coetzee was, exactly because he tried so hard for the ko. Gerrie wins

I think Ruddock would take him out. Coetzee generally lost to big punchers.

I have a sneaky suspicion Razor might be too large physical for him but could well be wrong. Coetzee has dynamite in that right hand.

In some of Ruddock's early televised fights....he was much more a "boxer".

Yes ,before he fell in love with his power.Floyd Patterson worked with him,and said he had a good jab, but just wanted to knock everyone into next week so he eventually gave up on him.

Razor showed his tenacity in going 19 rds with Iron Mike when nobody wanted to fight either boxer. This Razor was on a tear with his last 10 opponents only lasting 27 rds. This version too rugged for a game Coetzee who is stop in 7rds.

I recall that when Ruddock took on Greg Page .He made it a lot harder on himself than he had to ,Swinging wildly a lot of the time .Patterson saw talent in Razor but as you say he couldn't get him to settle down .
