Razor Ruddock V Michael Moorer

Ruddock would win by KO in the first 5 rounds

 

Ruddock catches him with something BIG in the late rounds, while being down on the cards.

 

This one would've been fun, these guys were two of my favorites in the 90's. I was able to see both fight live and of course had (still have) all their fights taped, on that now beautiful relic of our past the VCR.... lol.

This is a tough call, my original thought was Razor by KO, thinking he probably owns the sturdier chin.. But MM was much more polished, threw much better combos, was a southpaw and also hit damn hard with both hands.. So I'm on the fence, one thing is for sure I think it'd be a can't miss fight with both men hurt and probably down.

If I had to make a call I'd say if Razor doesn't get him early then Moorer probably gets him late. I'm going to assume Moorer whethers the early storm, and fights fire with fire hurting Ruddock and getting his respect and when it gets late I think it'll be Moorer standing at the end and stopping Razor in the 9th!!!

 

you have to favour moorer over the overrated ruddock, after all moorer did beat holyfield and was champion of the world, the legend of ruddock is based on 2 losses against tyson. Moorer by ko or clear decision

 

I just don't see Moore surviving the bombs Ruddock would throw at him.

why? because jaco is probably the worst hw in the history of boxing and he lasted 7 rounds with ruddock...

wow you are using david tua as example, tua is easily a top 5 hardest punchers ever and stylistically was all wrong for moorer... also tua had granite chin.and ruddock got stopped in every defeat that he has

 

There's been plenty of HW boxers worse than Jaco. Jaco is someone you've actually heard about. Imagine all those who never even get to his level.

(he lost against him when young matured).

Your answer doesn't change that Ruddock was not stopped in every defeat he had.
