    Now theres a tongue twister.

Suppose that Ruddock beat Lewis, would Bowe have still tossed the belt into the garbage so he could fight Dokes [Who Ruddock & Holyfield had already KO'd

Or would he have fought Ruddock...If so what would have happened???

Ruddock was demolished by Lewis, and Bowe had a good chance to do the same thing. Ruddock's defence was not that good. Sure he was dangerous but nowhere near to great fighter.

    Lewis also walked through Golota.

Just cause Lewis can do something doesnt mean Bowe can.

I think it would be a very close fight.

Golota was also actually prepared for Bowe.

Golata has never done well against people that jump on him, and hit hard. I thought for sure Golata would take Brewster, but look what happened. Lamon had never fought like that. That is what happened with Lewis. Lewis came out firing.

I believe Ruddock had too many flaws in his defense to face the larger members of the divisions best. Razor could lean on Mike Tyson, and make Tyson work hard for clean shots.

Bowe would be able to outwork Ruddock from the outside, and had too much for Ruddock on the inside. I don't think he would catch Ruddock as soon as Lewis, but I would be surprised if it made it past the 6th.

If there's a problem here for Bowe, it's that he has weak defence and would be fighting a big puncher. How many legit big punchers did Bowe face?

Herbie Hide is the only one, and Bowe admitted he was out on his feet at one point (during the brief periods when Herbie wasn't bouncing off the canvas).

If Holyfield can rattle and deck him, Tyrell Biggs can wobble him, Hide can hurt him and Golota can basically pound the hell out of him, what's a genuine HW puncher like Ruddock going to do if he starts landing those big Smashes?

Bowe's a better boxer, much busier and Ruddock has very little game on the inside. While Bowe isn't exactly fleet of foot he's still a step up from the usually sluggish Ruddock, and he has a better trainer in his corner.

But Ruddock should be given a live puncher's chance in this one.

Razor Ruddock could of totally neutralise Mike Tyson, but he was technically primitive. He made the fights with Mike Tyson much harder than than it should of been, there was hardily no jab and he needed to throw more straight punches.

Razor Ruddock threw away all his advantages physically, and good technical does not make this vital error. Lennox Lewis never did it, Larry Holmes never did it...Riddick Bowe had a powerfull damaging jab, is big man big power.

Him and Evander Holyfield have the greatest workrates out of any heavyweights in their generation.

Riddick Bowe would win 3 round TKO.

I agree with the guys saying Rudduck has a good punchers chance. Rudduck at his finest really didn't get stopped that easily. Tyson 1 was stopped a bit premmy and regardless Tyson and Lewis hit off the scales. Bowe doesn't have their raw power tho he can certainly hit. Common sense tells me to go for the overall class of Bowe, but Rudducks certainly a very live underdog.

Bowe late in the fight, like ninth or tenth round.

Riddick is better than Ruddock. It isn't even close, not a toss up or anything in that nature. Riddick is one of the most frietening heavys ever.
