At his best, before he convinced himself that all he had to do to win a fight was close his eyes and throw his right hand, Ruddock was a very well put together Heavyweight. Once he got on a roll in a fight, Ruddock carried real momentum and could set a punishing pace. To stand any chance here, Frank has not to nail Razor early, within the first three or even two rounds. In fights he knew were going to be tough, Smith, Witherspoon, even Lewis, Bruno tended to be conservative and box within himself with the result that he would tighten up, burn all his nervous energy and fall apart in the late going. I wouldn't totally dismiss the notion of Bruno nailing an open and still cold Ruddock early on but my money would be on the Ref half carrying Frank back to his corner around the eighth.
Unless Frank does a Lennox on him and kod him early, and that's not impossible with Ruddock s chin, then the longer it goes on the more chance Bruno gets stopped. I'll go with Ruddock wrsc 7.
