Yeah, Mike Tyson was at peak physical condition when he fought Lewis.

Styles make fights, but Ruddock was never really guilty of losing to sub-par opposition. Lennox Lewis is the greatest Heavyweight since Larry Holmes, and Mike Tyson was a wrecking machine. The Morrison defeat came when Ruddock had been terribly inactive, but prior to the left hook that Morrison lands that would have knocked out a lot of Heavyweights, Ruddock was the boss and on the verge of stopping Morrison himself.

I'd take you more seriously if you weren't so ****ing disrespectful about Donovan and his career.

really where did i say he lost to every big fighter he faced all it shows is you didnt read what was said, :huh :think Size gave him problems if a fighter was big and could box he presented problems for tyson and his record against those opponents compared to people who were 6'2 and under shows that.

I don't think Tyson lost to Douglas and Lewis because they were taller opposition, neither do I think even uttering the names Williams or McBride should award you with even an ounce of credibility.

The majority of tall fighters Mike Tyson fought he defeated, and a lot of them in devastating fashion.

Jaco was sub par was he not :huh 24 wins 25 losses? His career amounted to him beating up on lesser opponents and then getting dominated and usually stopped by every boxer he fought when he stepped up. Facts are Ruddock never amounted to anything and couldnt hang with the better fighters.

That was his 10th professional fight. Manny Pacquiao and Alexis Arguello can tell you a thing or two about how hard it can be when your just starting out. I think to put more stock in the Jaco defeat than Ruddock's victories over the likes of Smith, Weaver, and Dokes is to be stupid. Nobody is claiming Ruddock was a grade A Heavyweight, but David Haye hasn't beaten anyone at Heavyweight thus far that I wouldn't have favored Ruddock to have beaten. Plus, a big strong, athletic, huge puncher like Ruddock is Haye's worst nightmare.

So again did any fighter under 6'2 & 1/2 ever beat tyson? No only one person under 6'2 made it to the cards, Taller fighters posed problems for tyson and more often then not made it the full 12 or beat him, Now how many fighters 6'2 and under can say that :huh one? who made it to the cards... Every fighter he lost to and all but one fighter who made it to the cards were around 6'3 plus, Its pretty simple to see that height gave him problems.. Did he lose to them all no... But they did almost always pose problems...

Wladimir and Vitali would pose problems too, not enough to actually beat Mike Tyson though. You have your agenda driven opinion, I have my well informed one, let's just leave it at that because I can't be arsed to go round in his circles with you.

it did happen though just like Purrity to Wlad if you use one as an example you have to use the other.
To me Smith, Weaver and Dokes were above average heavy's nothing special.

Haye im not sure about but his speed could pose problems, i haven't seen enough of him at heavy to be sure, You are right though i would favor Ruddock over a washed up Barret, Ruiz and Valuev, :think I dont know for now I'd have to go with haye due to his speed and i think he may be mentally stronger, but might be close to a toss up i guess we wont see till he (Haye ) fights a good heavy. You might be right though.. The more i think about it the less sure i am of Haye in it :think

Morrison wasn't better then Sanders. And he almost lost to purrity who Sanders beat. morrison fought to a draw with purrity.
