Yes and Tyson beat him after 6 journeyman losses!
Witherspoon destroyed gim before even Tyson turned pro!
But you did not metnioned Tillis did not lost to any journeyman!
Morrison beat him after 2 losses and few wins!He was not came after 17 straight losses!
Again you nake yourself dumb defending Tyson because his opponent Tillis was beaten easier even before Tyson came! And Tyson struggled to beat him while Spoon and Morrison stopped him in 1st round!

All Ruddock fans are Tyson fans! All Tyson fans are Ruddock fans!
They use him to show Tyson beat somebody but he struggled to beat Ruddock but not mention he ducked Foreman,Tua,Ike,Mercer,Lewis and Holyfield in early 90s and list goes on!

If memory serves, Mike had other obligations in the early 1990's. Correct me if I misremember. Something going on in the State of Indiana.

he was 32 and Morrison was 25. He had fought ONCE in 2.5 years against a mediocre journeyman whom he couldn’t finish and then showed up for Morrison at was then a career high weight for him. He was a shot fighter

He was 31 he was born in december. And i disagree, he was not shot it is an exaggerated term. Morrison himself had a life of drugs, cocaine and prostitutes and still he won. And Morrison was 26

to what degree Morrison was effected by his own lifestyle choices which at best are difficult to gauge isn’t clear. Looking at Ruddock in that fight however and looking at him five years earlier it’s quite obvious he was slower, not as well conditioned and had reduced punch resistance and poor timing.

Five years can be a HUGE difference in age in boxing and as already stated it wasn’t the only force at play. Why is this so hard to agree with ?

It’s become apparent that there are some among us who aren’t knowledgeable on the times

i agree with you on several topics but this time
I disagree because he was not shot no way he was not that bad like you are trying to insinuate that he was and honestly after watching this fight again i think that Morrison would ko any ruddock, yes donovan has the puncher chance like the scary moment of the beginning but morrison showed that he was clearly the better boxer and in the early rounds had ruddock drunk also with a hook upper combination

And Ruddock had Morrison down once and rocked in almost every round as well. He fought Morrison in June of 1995 and his last fight was January of 1994 a year and a half earlier and against a journeyman who he couldn’t finish. His last fight before that was against Lewis in October of 1992 when he got destroyed by Lewis. That’s a time frame of 36 months ( nearly 3 years ) where he only fought once. Meanwhile Morrison was fighting regularly. He was also five years older than Morrison and at a career high weight for that point. You say Morrison’s left would have always stopped Razor. Look at all the lefts Ruddock took from Tyson years earlier. Don’t take my word for it. It’s all on film and there are noticeable differences from the Ruddock of 1990-91 to the one of 1995.
