Well aware of that. However, that did not make him unavailable to fight.

Tyson was behind bars... which is why he missed the match-ups that genius mentioned.

Again excuses for ducking many fighters!
He ducked Holyfield and fought Douglas like he paid to nit fight Lewis!

Wow. We have a new local dipsh*t. Great. Always nice to get your input while you last.

You're not funny. You're not original. And you obviously are out of your depth. The most basic facts of what went down in 1990-92 completely elude you.

    Enjoy your short ride.

Tyson paid Lennox Lewis (his WBC mandatory) $4 million to step aside and fight WBA champion Bruce Seldon in 1996. He then KO'd Seldon and decided to vacate his WBC belt. The reason was that him/his handlers wanted him to fight Holyfield instead because they though Evander was old and beatable.

The other example people bring up is George Foreman around 1990-1. I don't know how true this story/example is but basically Don King wanted Tyson to fight Foreman since he though George was old and would be an easy payday. Tyson knew that Foreman was no joke, even at 41, and was hesitant. Honestly, I don't think Tyson ducked Foreman. The type of boxers who gave him trouble were tall guys like Lewis, Bruno, Holyfield, who could clinch a lot. The fight probably didn't happen because of the money split.

I have to go with Ruddock. Tommy was fading in the actual fight badly before he pulled it out with an epic left hook. Ruddock actually still had his wits and was mad at the stoppage. Ruddock was rusty and inactive The Ruddock that fought Tyson 2x likely wins although Tommy would have a punchers chance.
