    Mexican people are always going to pay money to see the offspring of the great Julio Cesar Chavez. Bob Arum knows that. I don't think we should be penalising the fighter for decisions his promoters are making. Julio looked great tonight, and stopped a man who had never been stopped before in the opening round. He is stepping up in class ever so slightly with John Duddy, but I like the way he is developing his career. Getting experience under his belt before he fights the best fighters in the world, I wish a lot of other fighters followed suit. Perhaps Fernando Vargas wouldn't have burned himself out so quickly if he didn't fight Winky Wright, Tito Trinidad, and Oscar De La Hoya before he notched up 30 fights.
