The fans have the power to not pay to watch him.

They do, thats their prerogative.

Its a sport, and the W is of chief importance. Calderon SHOULD fight like he fights best at every opportunity, so long as he keeps getting paid.

 

I am telling that to people like you who don't understand what boxing is and classify a maestro like Calderon as a runner.

don't be so damn sensitive. i have calderon winning the fight but it was not a one-sided boxing showcase. i'm just pointing out the fact that if this fight took place anywhere else, people would not be as lenient to watch this kind of fight.

 

Is not like Calderon is getting millions. But real boxing fans follow Calderon. The rest started boxing in the Oscar Dela Hoya era because their wives wanted to see DLH

No i wan't him to retire because he is old and past his prime, He would easy outclass this guy up. But He is not the same since the firt clash He is now inactive someting that is not good by a fighter of that age, now He will be inactive again for a lot of months and then He will comeback against a stay busy fight to end his ring rust, and could be beaten by a bum. Calderon need to stay active so He can be in shape and win the money that He deserve because He is not going to last to much now.
i really hope He boxes the ear of Sosa.

I would HAPPILY pay to see Calderon's next fight. He's well worth it.

As a true fan of boxing, practitioners of sticking and moving are just as exciting to me as guys who like to go toe-to-toe.

Exactly a lot of people do not see a prime Calderon how active and efective He was, now He is more economical ala Hopkins because of His age, those two old fighters are smart in the ring.

calderon should take the tracks,not boxing. make a poll about his kind of performance. fans foot the bill and if fans arent getting what they are paying its hard to put butts on the chair next time.
