RBR Calderon vs. Mayol card

Yes He need to move up a fight Pacman, Floyd, Marquez, Paul Williams and retire with a fight with Hopkins. Do you understand that in that weight sometimes the tv talent is not there because of exposure, i really like to see if you even have seen some of those little champions fight, yea you don't becasue you like some bums said that in that weight they have not talent or even is not interested. The media is not interested in those weight clases so much people do not know the talent in that class so if you don't know then the weight class is weak, some of these little guys could beat those television talents if they where the same size sadly they are not the same. If Calderon where bigger He could be fighting all of them or in disposition to figth them, sadly money talk and calderon would be fighting mandatories and solid to weak contenders becasue of the high risk low reward, ala Cory Spinks Winky Wright type of fighters, and now Paul Williams.

 

an average fighter rarely wins championships. carita is just an ordinary champion but not an average fighter. he was on a win streak since 2003 and has not lose a fight since 2002 and most people including ricans, mex and even pinoys picked carita to win using his experience.

 

The kid Sonsona is good. Just still has a lot to prove. Jose Lopez was a pretty good test. But there are better guys around. Againg, the guy is very good.

 

I actually train at a gym where Donaire Sr's nephew owns it. Donaire Sr trained Sonsona and has high hopes for him. So I was going for Sonsona but I deff agree nice win for a young fighter but lets not overate it.

 

Calderon is a clean good guy Wittaker is a carck head who wasted his carrer are not even comparable.

 

Nothing. I never faulted his career choices. I simply said if he fought in a different era or in a different weight class he'd be second rate. He gets by due to the lousy opposition currently at the lower weights. He's yet to even face a truly good fighter in his career, much less elite. If he did his limitations would likely see him overwhelmed.

 

Carita just isn't a star. Of course he won a few good fights. Against Who????? But I agree we will be seeing a lot of this kid in the next few years

definitley. no ones overrating it. so many great fight at the weight that he could even have possible future fights with darchinyan, gorres or even nonito himself.

Not going to talk about Pernell. But the way Calderon has conducted himself out of the ring is another reason to admire. He is an example to follow for the young kids in PR. He is much more than boxing

 

Carita isn't that good based on what I saw..I am actually surprised now how in the world he went on a winning streak.Must of fought tomato cans.Calderon is a good elusive boxer. I think a nightmare for many out there.
