Good shot by Hall, gets Carslaw backing up. Carslaw is trying to pull Hall in toward him but getting rocked back with uppercuts. They trade slaps down low. Heads keep coming together. Richie Davis warns both sternly. Right hand by Hall, and some left rips down low. Big uppercut to the jaw, and a left hook to the head. Carslaw flops back against the ropes and then forward to tie up again. Body shots by Hall. Soft ones in reply by Carslaw. Slapping right hooks by Carslaw, blunted on Hall's upheld arms. Carslaw barely landing while slapping the body. Right hand by Hall.

Hard to give Carslaw a round when you look at the punches he lands there really is nothing on a majority of them.

 

Round 8

Carslaw is running around the ring, as Hall jumps in and hooks away at him. Minimal shots coming back from Carslaw, none of them serious. A few left uppers to the hip, but not snap at all. Hall pushes him up against the ropes and leans against him until Richie Davis calls a break. More wrestling in the center of the ring, with Hall roughing Carslaw up a bit and landing a few shots up top. Soft pendulum slaps to the thighs by Carslaw while backing up. Right uppercut by Carslaw en route to a clinch, half caught on the glove. Hall powers through with left hooks and right hands up top, backing Carslaw up. Slaps to the guard by Carslaw before stepping off to the side and hugging the ropes. Right hand by Hall.
