Matsuoka started well but was rocked and dropped

Both guys were staggered, great round! Ishikawa feeling the pace late in the round, but his right hand looks devastating

Matsuoka, the more natural boxer, was hurt early and Ishikawa is after him, Matsuoka trying to turn the tables later in the round and Ishkawa is left with blood running from his nose

Matsuoka trying to steal this now and Ishikawa looks knackered!
Huge shots from Matsuoka and Ishikawa holding, spoiling and a struggling, good rights from Ishikawa, huge right from Matsuoka, Ishikawa digging to return fire as they both unload short 1-2's,they are punching themselves to a standstill! What a fight!

Takahiro Araki (12-8, 4) Vs Yuji Awata (11-6-1, 4)

Mostly quiet round but a round for Araki who tagged Awata and had a knockdown scored in his favour. Very much a bad styles clash here...

2-
The styles are not gelling at all, both standing off, waiting for the other, too much respect...oh **** they are opening up...down goes Araki! He beats the 10 count...referee waves it off anyway...

 

Kudura Kaneko (10-0, 7) v Moon Hyon Yun (18-7-3, 4)
Expecting something awesome here!

Respect being shown earlier, both wanting to see what the other has in their locker, Kaneko is a very promising boxer-puncher whilst Yun is a rugged veteran known for output and toughness,

A big right from Kaneko, and a body shot from the youngster, Yun struggling to close the distance and the jab of Kaneko is playing a major part in that so far, another good body jab from Kaneko, lovely hook to the body from Kaneko and another body shot, hooks up top and a right on the bell...that was starting to heat up...but very clearly a Kaneko round

Kaneeko again looking to control the distance by Yun pressing forward and pins Kaneko on the ropes landing a good body shot, he then backs off, standing head to head now but Yun not letting his shots fly, stiff body shot from Kaneko, Yun comes to life but eats a huge right, a clubbing right from Yun, Kaneko with a combo to the body, Kaneko beating Yun on the inside, lovely Kaneko combination, brilliant Kaneko uppercut, huge combination from Kaneko and down goes Yun! He's up...ref takes a look...and waves it off...

HMMMM Not sure about that stoppage

Now up Kai Ishizawa (6-0, 6) Vs Masataka Taniguchi (11-3, 7)

1-Ishizawa applying pressure but Taniguchi creating space and working well, Taniguchi rocked! Almost touched down but recovers, Taniguchi trying to create space again and he rocks Ishizawa now! A hard left from Taniguchi! Taniguchi is varying the speed and power on his shots well and using his jab to try and create space, another good left, Ishizawa struggling to get inside and eats another left! Great round!

More of the same, early on but Ishizawa manages get inside and unload some of his big shots with a nice flurry, Taniguchi very wary of the youngster's power, both showing some good head movement but Taniguchi is still landing far too many clean left hands, both land a solid body blow, solid combination from Taniguchi and Ishizawa struggles to respond, another left hand follows from Taniguchi as Ishizawa tries to close the distance, body shot from Ishizawa

More of the same from Taniguchi, he's too good for the youngster who is now cut on the right eye and getting really badly out landed and frustrated. Ishizawa worked in the clinch, and it seemed to **** Taniguchi off with a series of clubbing right hands, Taniguchi with 2 huge body shots,

Ishizawa getting up close and personal in round 4, holding and pushing, another good Taniguchi body shot, lovely uppercut from Taniguchi, Taniguchi himself rocked! Then he bounces straight back to being in control. Suspect Ishizawa's team believe tat with his power he always has a chance but...lets not ruin the kid for a roll of the dice

Taniguchi slowing down and Ishizawa now on the front foot, Ishizawa getting on the inside easier, but still taking punishment on his way in..Down goes Taniguchi seconds before the bell! Holy **** huge round for Ishizawa

WOW! JUST WOW that was 3 minutes of 2 way violence. Ishizawa is now getting the fight his way, with both trading on the inside and they just beat the every loving crap out of each other...AMAZING
